Composite Filling
When a tooth is overcome with decay or if it cracks or fractures, a composite filling may be in order. To alleviate the situation, the decayed part of the tooth will be removed and a composite filling will be put in its place. If a filling is part of your treatment plan, Dr. Sangha will work with you to decide the best course of action and inform you of the benefits of composite fillings, which include:
- Tooth-colored
- Can be matched to existing teeth
- Are aesthetically pleasing
- Very strong and durable
Might you need a composite filling? Do you have:
- Chipped teeth
- A space between two teeth
- Cracked, broken, or worn teeth
- Decayed teeth
To begin your composite filling, we will numb your tooth to ensure your maximum comfort then, remove the decay to get your tooth back to a healthy state. Once we clean the tooth, the composite filling will be placed and we will work to get your tooth looking, feeling and acting like its original self.
